dear amazon.com,
you can imagine my excitement this week when i opened the package that should have contained a shiny new blue ipod. you can imagine my shock when the package was emtpy! and when i called to see what happened, you casually replied, "oh, it looks like we forgot to put the ipod in the package." the ipod is the only thing that should have been in the package! but whatev. at least you have good customer service and gave me a full refund.

dear staples,
i hate you and your crappy customer service and the fact that you charge corporations more than customers.
from,
the girl who wishes she never had to shop at your store again
dear gap,
i heart your outlet store very much. it's unfortunate that you don't offer cuter/cheaper clothes at your store and website. i would for sure support you more if you had better options.

the girl who can only afford clothes from gap outlet
dear economy,
i did my part in supporting you this weekend. i hope you appreciate it.

dear spring weather,
nothing makes me happier than rain. it smells delicious, provides FREE water for the lawn, and makes me want to curl up with a good book. but i should probably be running (more like shuffling) so i don't die in the pleasant view 5k, so please give us a few sunny days before june 27th.

I love so many of these songs! But some I haven't heard so I wouldn't mind winning at all! :)
ha Carly, your letters made me smile!:) Are you serious about the ipod not being in the box?
I haven't heard many of those songs on your playlist, but would not mind winning.
I can't believe that the person on the phone just said they just must have forgot to put it in the box. Obviously they forgot.
Also I never win anything so it would make my day if I won something, and it was good to see you guys this weekend.
i LOVED the letters - you are awesome!! i think i know one song, so i am good either way!
I always love your letters! We definitely did our part to suppor the economy this weekend and although I LOVE Gap outlet, it sure is hard on your checking account! I had a wonderful time with you this weekend! I'm so glad we took the time to spend time together!!! P.S. Running in the rain is amazing, I just got back. Too bad we don't live close enough to be running buddies!
dear carly,
your cute, and i loved your letters. i was shocked that your amazon box was empty...funny but frustrating.
Your letters were so fun to read. But then, you've always been an awesome writer! :)
Way cute post. I am not "with the times" as far as music goes and I don't know a single song on the list :) But I am crossing my fingers that I win your cd. I could always use something to listen to when I am sitting on my couch trying to nurse, staring out the window.
Oh- and it was so fun to run into you in Park City! My whole family loves you!
You are so creative...thanks for the smile! And I totally agree on it all...especially the economy, it's getting old.
How depressing to think you were receiving a shiny new ipod only to find the box empty. That must have been a sad feeling. Sorry I never made it over with your book... it's been crazy lately. Maybe I'll shoot for tonight??
PS SO glad to know I'm not the only one who suddenly and randomly realizes I don't want to cook on a monday night... :)
Your letters are hilarious! Thanks for making me smile. Also, I want the cd. I hope I win. :)
Carcar, you're so funny! So you are lucky they believed you about the ipod. There was a gal who bought a "new" one from Walmart but when she got the box home it was full of batteries. Walmart said she stole it and planted the batteries and wouldnt give her her money back. I think she was going to sue. It was on the news.
:) Cant wait to see you.
Carly, you are a funny girl! In this failing economy, you are lucky to get that ipod for free.
