a week in the life: monday

ali edwards has a great creative challenge on her blog for the week. as she says, you don't have to be a scrapbooker to play along. i've had my camera with me all day and am looking forward to spending the week capturing what life looks like right now. i'm guilty of always thinking about what life will be like when we're graduated or have money or have kids or have a real kitchen. in all the time spent thinking about what life will be like when, i forget to enjoy the wonderful and unique time of life right now. so this will be good for me. i'm going to take lots of pictures and post every day to document a week in the life.

mondays are always the worst for finding parking. luckily, someone is leaving just as i pull in. this is the view from the parking lot. it's beautiful. School assignment due today: poster

Lots of time spent in the car driving between school and work. This is the view on my way to work.
Must-haves to make it through work: extra large diet coke with lemon and dr. laura on the radio. Come home and start making dinner. Coco can be found anxiously waiting for any bits of food to be dropped on the floor. Mike gets home and helps unload the dishwasher.

Tacos for dinner.

The rest of the night will be spent doing laundry and finding a home for all the junk on the dryer. And getting a little treat for family home evening :)
