he's here! and cute and wonderful as ever. i love my little brother. i will never ever forget the look on his face (and my mom's) when he got off that escalator at the airport late wednesday night. we were all waiting with anticipation, watching as the screen said he would be landing at 9:00, then 9:07, and finally when the words flashed that he had landed.when we saw him, i think we all lost it. we vowed not to cry because we were all a mess when we said goodbye, but we couldn't help it when we saw him. there was so much emotion when he hugged my mom. i wish i would have had my camera handy, but that image will forever remain in my mind. it was awesome. we didn't embarrass him too much. just had a big sign and cheered as he came down :) mike and i were fortunate enough to spend the rest of the weekend with my family and attend my cousin's wedding. there is no better place to spend a little time than at a temple wedding ceremony. i love this time of year when we reflect on how much we have to be thankful for, and our families are definitely at the top of the list.
I love the argyle sweater that you have on in those pictures. But for the more important things, isn't it so good to have your brother home after so long. I remember how excited we were a few months ago when my sister came home. What an exciting day for you guys.
WHAT?! He can't be that old, can he?! Gosh, I remember him as a kid--a pipsqueak! He sure turned into a handsome missionary. And you look so good, Carly!
I love that you, your dad, and Drew all hold your hands the exact same way! You're definitely related! I'm so excited for you to have your brother home! P.S. You look beautiful and perfectly content to hold that little one in the last picture!
I am so happy for you guys! What an exciting weekend. He looks great. I love that picture of him and all his cute sisters, and that last one of you and the baby is just beautiful!
Wow, he is a lot taller than I remember him! That is so exciting to have him home. I love the picture of all the kids...wow, things have changed! You are beautiful.
