another project

we have some friends in our ward who are expecting their first baby and they aren't going to find out what they're having. i think it's awesome because no one does that anymore (especially with their first), but it has been quite difficult to find a gender-neutral baby gift.

i saw the cutest sock animals ever -- seriously, go look at how cute they are -- on this website and knew i wanted to make one. i can't decide if i love the elephant, though. and we are having a debate about the blue and red. mike things it looks too girlish with the red, i think everything looks quite boyish because i used a lot of blue. what do you think?

Sorry I didn't get the picture you sent on my phone.
They are super cute Carly! I don't think they look too girlish with all the blue. You are oh so talented. :)

Those are so cute!!! I LOVE the elephant! I just bought a book on how to make sock animals and I'm so excited to try it. I love the red and blue...very gender neutral!

LOVE IT! Oh Carly. You are so original. I love it. The colors are perfect! I like red and blue together. I agree that it's cool when people don't find out the gender... but there are NO gender neutral baby clothes anymore... so it would be hard to get ready!

I like the red. It's definitely gender neutral unless it's like sparkly. ;) I love the elephant and the slippers though, VERY cute! You freakin rock, I wish I could do stuff like that!
