#1: i've never quit reading a book in the middle of it, but i am so done with "love in the time of cholera." i was hoping for a sweet love story, passionate characters, or something of substance- the book won a nobel prize so i was sure it would be good. but it's not. 150 pages in, nothing has happened. i don't know who the characters are. i've only ready 2 chapters because they are each 75 pages long. the whole story is told in summary. i would not recommend this book. stephanie meyer- i hope your new book can pull me out of the reading rut i'm in.

75 pages in a chapter! Man....that's terrible on her part....short chapters are the best...and I'm lovin that in the host...i'm sure you'll finish before me though...so don't spoil it on here....when are we going to hang out my dear
I just went and bought the Host today. I'm having a hard time getting into My Sisters Keeper, but I'm trying. 75 pages per chapter..I think I would stop reading too, thats awful! I'm reading blood and chocolate right now and I'm liking it alot.
OOoo let me know how the Host is. That is not part of the Twilight series is it?

Hey Carly! You have no idea how excited I was to hear from you and to read your blog! You are just so cute and it will be so fun to see what you're up to! I am definately counting down the days until the next Stephanie Meyer book comes out too! I started reading "Sophie's Choice" the other day and had to stop because it was so dumb and the language was horrible. I even found it on the classics rack at the library! Oh well, at least I have something to look forward to!
