I think Kennedy was doing something weird right before my mom took this, cause I'm laughing in this picture and Mike is looking at me like, "What's wrong with your family?" But it's the only one I have of us:
My cousins Lindsey and Ashley were at my grandmas, so the evening wouldn't have been complete wihtout a tense game of NERTS (or pounce as Lisa and the Cardons call it). I'm pretty sure Kennedy won. She's quite the card shark.
It was so nice to have Friday off. I didn't do any bargain shopping, did any of you? I loved decorating our house, it feels like Christmas now and I'm getting antsy for snow. I watched White Christmas while decorating- I love me some Bing Crosby singing White Christmas!
And if I may boast my climbing-a-ladder and putting-up-Christmas-light skills, I was really excited to climb a ladder and get these babies on the roof. Sorry for the blurry picture but look how good I am at putting up lights :)

Carly I am so very impressed with your lights on your house! Way to go! I stayed inside the warm house while Brandon put up ours...cute pictures of your fam! We need to hang out my dear and I need to come see your house!
Oh I love the pics! Mikes face is so funny... I can just see what he is thinking! :) And I cant believe Kennedy won Ashley in cards... Im glad you were there to play with her though because we dont ever play games anymore and Ash is the gamming queen. Happy Birthday to your Mommita and Im totally jealous that you can even think of snow. As I was putting up our tree it was like 80 degrees outside and stupid! It felt like it was June and here I was putting up a tree! So I made hot chocolate anyways just because I HAD to do something wintery. :)
